I hope you like. So, let's go there! Cricket is a sport that originated in
England and is currently widespread in Asia as we have told you in previous
posts of this blog. For those of you who are not experts, it may seem a little
complicated, but once you understand it, it is even simpler than football or
basketball.
If
you want to know how to play cricket, the first thing you have to know is that
it is a game that needs a lot of patience. The matches can last up to 28 hours.
Even in some cases there is a break for tea.
PLAYING FIELD
The playing field in which cricket is practiced is oval, with
a rectangular space in the center, which is called a court. To learn how to
play cricket you have to be very attentive to this area, since that is where
all the action is generated. At first sight the field where cricket is played
may resemble baseball, but in practice both games have nothing to do with it.
The lawn where cricket is played must be in perfect condition, because if it is
not very difficult to control the ball and give the right boat to enjoy the
game. The rectangular area that measures 3.4 m wide by 20.12 m long, is divided
by four field lines: the line of attack or batting, known as 'popping crease';
two return lines -creurn crease- that are parallel along the court and the
launch line -bowling create-, which divides the area into two rectangular
sections.
